A Birthday Celebration to Remember

Last night, my wife and a few of our close friends surprised me with a simple yet unforgettable birthday celebration at a hidden gem — LBA Aquafarm Seafoods and Dampa Paluto in Malolos, Bulacan. It’s been quite some time since I last celebrated my birthday with others, and I couldn’t have asked for a better evening. The seafood was incredibly fresh, the atmosphere laid-back and inviting, and the company made it truly special. A Feast for Seafood Lovers

There were ten of us in total, and the food did not disappoint! We started the evening with a bucket of fresh oysters boiled to perfection and paired with a tangy vinegar dip with onions and chili peppers. Then came the star of the night — a boodle fight seafood platter overflowing with clams, shrimps, crabs, mussels, and corn, all smothered in a mildly spiced Cajun-style sauce. Everything was bursting with flavor — the perfect treat for any seafood lover in Malolos, Bulacan. We washed it all down with ice-cold water and laughter all around. And here’s the best part: the total bill was just over ₱4,000 (around $75 USD), plus a well-deserved tip — an incredible deal for ten fully satisfied diners. Everyone left LBA Aquafarm Seafoods and Dampa Paluto impressed by both the quality of the food and the affordability of the feast.

To keep the celebration going, we drove to Shell of Asia along NLEX in Calumpit, Bulacan, home to one of the most beautiful Starbucks branches in the Philippines.This Starbucks in Calumpit stands out for its modern design, airy layout, and spotless interiors. Overall, my birthday celebration in the Philippines turned out to be a truly heartwarming experience shared with my wife and close friends. It was a celebration I genuinely enjoyed — something I rarely did back in America — and it truly brought me out of my shell. The warmth, laughter, and connection made the day unforgettable.
